The former Florida Humane Society Shelter

The former Shelter at 1925 West Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach was sold & torn down on Friday, July 30th, 2004. Our beloved cats & dogs are now all in Foster homes waiting to be adopted. They are at the Boca Raton & Coral Spring's PETsMART's on Saturday & Sunday's. A generous person has donated a parcel of land to us on the corner of Sample Rd. & Powerline Rd. However, we are still desperately struggling to raise money to build the new shelter. We are holding a series of fundraisers for this purpose. Please check back to this site often for future announcements on fundraising events & how you can help.

Ducky

Ducky is a 3 year old male Labrador Retriever Mix. He has come to us after being hit by a car. After having had hip surgery he seems to be as good as new. Ducky is very smart, energetic & strong. He is ready and waiting for a 2nd chance with someone / family who has a firm but gentle hand and will give him the loving forever home he deserves.

Micklea & Ariel

Michlea & Ariel are sisters who are approximately 7 months old. Miicklea is a grey and white short hair and Ariel is black and white. They are both very sweet and playful. As all of our kitties, they have been tested, have age appropriate shots and have been spayed. Please come to the Boca Raton PetSmart located on the SW corner of 441 & Glades Rd.

Every Month is
Prevent a Litter Month

With your donation, together we can help prevent unwanted litters of puppies & kittens. It will cost us $50 per dog & $35 per cat for every animal that we spay or neuter. Any amount you can generously donate to assist us in this endeavor is very much appreciated.
